Windows 10's Default theme might start to bore you after some time. Many people like to make desktop their own by changing wallpaper. However you can completely change the way your typical Windows 10 Desktop looks, for FREE! In the video above, I have prepared easy instructions along with any required things for download (Link at the end of this post).
This theme utilizes one of our previous theme's wallpapers which the community seemed to love the most. Since Windows 10 doesn't have its own desktop widgets, we'll be using Rainmeter and Nexus Dock. These are the only two programs we'll need in order to customize desktop as shown above.
For the skins, we chose Lano Visualiser for music as it looks really neat and minimal. The customisation pack also includes a nice Clock widget which shows Time, Date and Day. Finally, the weather widget automatically detects your location and shows weather information. For more information about these skins, check the credit links at the end of this post.
To make it even cleaner, we will hide the desktop icons as well as the taskbar as we are using Nexus Dock for icons instead. The package also includes a simple icon pack that you can use to change icons of any other apps you might want to use on desktop. In case there's some application you want icon for but you can't find it in the provided icon pack, feel free to look one up online and use that instead! Watch the video to see how.
One thing that is very hard to for some of you guys is positioning the skins in the center. For that we have included a guide wallpaper that has boxes drawn on it so you can use that to position the skins perfectly in the center, no matter what resolution your display is. As you might have guessed, a lot of effort is put into these videos and customisation packs so consider subscribing to our channel below as show of support and sharing it with your friends.

Wrong Location in Weather Skin? No Problem!
A viewer of mine pointed out that he was getting wrong location in weather skin due to usage of a VPN. This tricked the system into thinking he actually lived somewhere else and thus, showing incorrect weather information. Luckily, there is a way to manually change the location since it uses Yahoo! Weather. Follow the Steps below to change your location in Yahoo! Weather:
- Go to: https://www.yahoo.com/news/weather.
- From there, click on "Change Location" and Change it to your desired location.
- After that it will redirect you to a new site with your new location. Simply Copy the URL from the address bar of your browser.
- Now right-click on your weather skin > edit skin.
- Scroll down to [MeasureWeather] and under there, you'll see url text like "url=xyz". Change "xyz" to the link you copied earlier and save the file (Shortcut CTRL+S).
- Once done, right click on the skin again > refresh skin.
Now you should see the location updated. If you still encounter problems, leave a comment below and we will try to help you.
